We understand that you may want to know more about your sash windows and how we work. Our FAQs below should help offer the answers you need. Can’t see your question? Please get in touch and a member of our friendly team will be happy to help.

  • No preparation is required. However, you may wish to watch some of our short fitting and customer review videos on our website. This is likely to answer some of your questions in advance. You might also have more questions after watching the videos.

  • To understand your requirements and provide an accurate quote, your consultation should take around an hour.

  • You’ll be left with a fixed price written quote at the end of your consultation.

  • Your design consultant will show you relevant options using pictures and physical samples to ensure you know what you’re getting. We’ll also provide an itemised breakdown of your quote after the consultation.

  • Yes. We have sample windows available for you to see and try at our East Dulwich showroom.

  • This varies, depending on workload but is generally around 6 to 12 weeks. We are happy to advise our current lead time by request at any time.

  • All windows fitted will be fully finished the same day. That way, you can get “back to normal” the same evening. This also makes things easier for clearing rooms ready for the next days window fitting.

  • We accept most major credit and debit cards, with no extra charge and bank transfers. We purposely do not provide a finance facility because your bank will give you the best deal for finance.

  • You may order directly from your consultant once quoted. Alternatively, you can get in touch via our contact page, or visit our Showroom 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday where we will be happy to serve you.

  • Surveys usually take between 40 minutes and two hours, depending on the quantity of items and complexity.

  • Our Surveyors have all got decades of experience specifically measuring for replacement windows and specifying finishing methods.

  • Yes. All team members will wear shoe coverings to protect the flooring in your home.

  • We will typically start in the area furthest from the front door and work our way out, completing every item the same day it is started. This way you can “get back to normal” the same evening and have plenty of room to move things around if necessary ready for the next days work.

  • Our fitters have all worked only for us for more than ten years and some for much longer. The company managers provide very organised equipment, environment and logistic support on a daily basis to ensure the fitters are best placed to do their best work. Happy and productive are the watchwords in our team. 

    Our fitters are all very approachable, friendly and happy to answer questions should you have any.

  • We do every in our power to prevent complications but still occasionally have problems which are immediately reported to the installation manager. They will resolve issues very promptly whilst keeping you up to date with progress where relevant.

  • Your new windows will be unconditionally guaranteed for 10 years, meaning that all moving parts and all labour are fully guaranteed, which is very often not the case in the wider window industry. If you have a problem with our windows we really do want to know about and deal with it. It’s all part of our primary goal to “create raving fans”!
