Bringing Gardens To Life – A Bespoke Windows Project on Colyton Road, East Dulwich SE22

In this project house in Colyton Road, we set out to seamlessly integrate indoor and outdoor living, by fitting a bespoke back door that opens up to the garden.

The Bespoke range of uPVC doors and casement windows have many of the same features as our uPVC heritage sash windows: tiny white gaskets, spacer bars and air filled white gaskets. By eliminating the black, grey and silver lines, usually found on uPVC fenestration, the frames are far more aesthetically congenial with period properties.

The doors, casements and sash windows compliment each other well when fitted in the same property.

Here garden doors were fitted with white panelling and white gaskets, avoiding the usual “Zebra crossing” effect of black gaskets.

Security

These high security doors are ten point locking operated simply by raising the handles prior to key locking. The windows above and to the side of the doors are six point locking, incorporating both flat knife Shootbolt and Espagnolette locking operated by one handle. The windows can also be locked one inch open for secure ventilation.

Summary

The Colyton Road project showcases the bespoke nature of our products, our traditional craftsmanship and the blend of period property features with hi tech performance.
